The Owner Nick and his wife, Jo have lived in Norfolk for more than 20 years having moved here from London. He has worked all his life in retail management both in the UK and in South Africa. He started Sams Local Shopper in 2010 after leaving the Post Office. Nick has a real passion for South African wine and has improved the range and quality of the wine that he stocks. Nick tries to promote local produce wherever he can and sources bread, milk, cakes and non-food products from Norfolk and Suffolk suppliers. The team at Sams Local Shopper of Karen, Naomi and Angela are all local to the area and have years of retail experience and are dedicated to providing a great level of customer service

At Sams Local Shopper we believe the success of the store is due to the tremendous support we has received from the Pulham community. We have tried to make the store a place where the community can meet and interact as well as a place where they can get their groceries, pay their bills and transact their business. We are committed to improving the store's retail offering and the number of different transactions the Post Office can perform for the community. We believe that in this era of increasing transport costs the potential for a vibrant local shop to prosper will continue to be encouraging.
